Meet Michael Grant – A Passionate Automotive Professional & Accomplished Franchisee
Michael’s journey in the automotive industry began at just 18 years old when he stepped into the field as an automotive technician. These early hands-on years provided him with a deep understanding of vehicle maintenance and repair. This formed a strong technical foundation which would support his long-term success in the industry.
Driven by a passion for growth and excellence, Michael progressed quickly, moving into roles with leading global tyre brands such as Bridgestone, Hankook, and Kumho. In these corporate settings, he honed his skills in operations, customer service, and business management. This experience helped in gaining a comprehensive view of the industry from both the workshop floor and the boardroom.
Michael’s entrepreneurial spirit soon took hold, leading him to manage multiple automotive retail locations. These endeavours where he gained valuable experience in store operations, customer engagement, and team leadership would hold him in good stead for the future. He later joined the Rapid Tune Head Office, working closely with franchise operations and gaining a deep understanding of what it takes to build and support successful franchise businesses.
It was during this time that Michael discovered his true ambition, to become a franchisee himself. Now, as a proud Rapid Tune franchise owner, Michael leverages his broad industry experience, technical expertise, and leadership skills to deliver exceptional service. One that is predicated on honest advice, and providing genuine value for his customers.
Michael’s career reflects a journey of dedication, growth, and passion for the automotive trade. With a commitment to excellence and a focus on continuous improvement, he remains a respected leader and valued member of the Rapid Tune network.
